Available exclusively at The iam Pageant POWERHOUSE, the Music Artist of the Year Optional Contest, sponsored by Studio 1 Zero, pairs promising talent with the opportunity to work with a GRAMMY award-winning producer. Participate in a live audition on-site during POWERHOUSE Week in front of an industry expert. A winner will be selected from both the Junior (Princess, Jr. Pre-Teen, and Pre-Teen) and Senior (Jr. Teen, Teen, and Miss) Divisions. These winners will receive a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to jumpstart their music careers. The NAM Personal Introduction Competition is worth 30% of each girls required score. The goal of this competition is to encourage public speaking skills. At the state level, the girls will have 30 seconds to introduce themselves to the judges and to the audience.
